*spoiler alert!*
Recently, I’m craving for silly romantic-drama-comedy movies (or as in Bahasa: unyu movies). You know, a girl meet a boy, hate him at first, but end up chasing him at airport kinda story.
And since we can’t watch literally ANY good movies at cinema anymore, I decided to bought Miss Keira Knightley’s movie, entitled “Never Let Me Go”.
Now if you think this is a cute romantic-drama-movie… eeek, you’re wrong. The cover fooled me, I thought, “Hey, Keira Knightley! And the main guy-character seems cute” so I bought it.
But boy, this is a weird movie that you can’t even draw a line between a-deep-and-touching-movie or just plain weird.
The movie starts with a gloomy childhood story of three people, Ruth (Keira Knightley), Tommy (some guy) and Kathy (Carey Mulligan) who lived in a strict-and-odd boarding school. And there goes the classic love triangle story: Kathy loves Tommy and Tommy loves her too but didn’t realize it until the end while Ruth become a bitch who steal Tommy.
At first, I didn’t understand many of their lines, like “Defferals” or “Model”, then at the end of a movie, it turns out they were HUMAN-CLONES which created to give their organ as donation.
Yes in the end, they all die. Thank you very much!
Score: 3.5 from 10.0
